This song is about my life's journey leading me to where I am now, doing what I love, finally making music in a beautiful place, helping others find their best self and being content with who I am. I suspect many listeners will find a connection in the message to their own journey. The song is about dreaming of being a musician, but instead pursuing a ‘practical’ career in business and striving for the American dream. It is about losing myself the way, addiction, destroying a marriage, but ultimately starting something new. It is about finally discovering who you are, having the courage to chase a dream and realizing its never, ever too late.
